After her 60 year rest,The New rear tires ordered on Thursday came in on Friday!!! Change of plans for the weekend now. Installed Tires and drove her 1 mile! I found One of the old tires had a Flap in it. The Aux Muncie..I pulled the top off...gear oil was gone. I found the shifter ball disc was have gone, welded it up. The cups the shifter sat in the pin had wore holes in 3 different places, welded them up too! made New gaskets, shift like new now...no slop! Now I'm going to replace some Top wood, and fix the exhaust nut this week.
Everyone has been a big help on the fourm!

Fred if your TT is a sq cab I sell the top wood kits danuser88@ktis.net
Over top of the ring gear,4 bolt cover and a fill plug. Is this just another way to fill the rear end housing?
That fill plug on top is a place to add lube to the rear bearing on the worm. Don't think you can fill the entire housing that way.
Fred, where did you get your rear tires? I'm having trouble finding one (1) BF Goodrich 33X5. I ordered from Lang's in February and it has been on back-order ever since. I called Coker (the manufacturer) and they said it was still on back-order. Anyone have a suggestion for this tire size?
I called Bob's.....they were drop shiped from universal tire in Pa. with tubes and Flaps. Size 500x23 Excelsor 6 ply.$225.00 ea. I took off old goodrich tires 4.50x32
