Jay, there's a guy in Montana who could sell you the special nuts which cover the needle where it protrudes through the float bowl cover. Contact me if you require his details.
Yours forever trying to be helpful. Grin.
Allan from down under.
By the way, if you have a spare float bowl cover for an OF, I could replace the Studebaker one on my carb before I send it to Stan.
Jay, do you know anything about the parts shown in the 4 1/2 ton ad? I'm looking at the extra heater on the intake and the other part that goes up in the cab.
Anyone have the whole set-up or directions for these?
Allan, Stan Howe rebuilt the RF on the left and the OF on the right and made them look and run like new. Eventually the other OF carbs will make it to Stan's for him to work his magic on.
Lance, I am also looking for the "hot spot" and the controller myself.
Jay, I have the intake heater and the RF that came with it. I wonder if the exhaust manifold was part of the deal. It has a hole with a bolt to mount the heater tube. Stan did my RF, but I haven't tried it yet.
Jay I'm thinking you don't have a T..... but you could build a T out of accessories. grin! Is there anything you don't have? Fun to see your great collection. Thanks,Duane
Duane,Glad to hear you enjoy my accessory posts.
