I think l may have made a "cockup" somewhere along the line in rebuilding my 13 Touring, my top bows are 54 3/4" wide O/D, but l need 56" to clear the back seat.
Can someone with a 1913 Touring, measure and post the distances from the rear seat bracket outwards from the body and front seat bracket outwards from the body and the outside distances between both backs and both fronts.
I may have the wrong fronts or wrong rears, l'm not sure ???
I'm sure that looking from the rear, it should be set as a straight line from rear to front.
David.
Would measurements from a 15 touring help ?

Thanks Bud, but l think the 15's are a little narrower.
(I'll take em if you got em ).
A quick trip to Warragul to measure the orginal 13' might help??
Warwick.
Thanks Warwick, where's it located ???
The 51.5 is the inside to inside of the rear top bow. Inside of the rear top bow off the body is 1.5.
The bracket is 3" off the body at the bead, and is 51.5 inside to inside. This is an early 13 built in Dec. of 12. Hope this helps, Bob.

For what its worth - here's the measurements on my (very early) 15 touring:
Front: Outside of (female bracket) to outside =52 3/8"
Outside of bracket to raised ridge on body = 4 1/4"
Rear: Outside of (male bracket) to outside =53 1/2"
Outside of bracket to raised ridge on body = 2 1/4"
Cheers

Thanks Bud, l'll check yours against mine, but l feel mine should be a little wider.
