Jay

That accessory needs to be on a T!

I love these, have them on two of the T's... work fantastic.

Sure that Henry or his sales guys, saw this and then came up with the single control chock and carb adj for the '25!

Guess I'm lost. What does it do? Allow the use of an earlier carb on a car that was supposed to have the U-joint mechanism type of mixture control?

I have one on my '25 and find it very difficult to rotate past 1/2 turn of the knob. It binds up and will only go in the other direction. Any suggestions?

The Krafve is a combo choke and carb adj for the '24 and earlier starter cars.

You connect the choke lever to the little wire, its locked with a washer when you pull up on the round knob. The you turn the round knob to adj the carb.

Dana

If yours is sticking, try a little lube in the block universal joint.

The long shaft to the carb needs to be fairly vertical for that u-joint to twist easy.

And be sure the lower yoke arm is centered right in the carb adj rod. The carb lock nut (brass hex) around the carb adj rod should be turned to allow the rod to rotate with ease, but not wander off its setting.

Very nice. Did Henry get an idea from this to use on the "improved" fords?

Dan: Thanks for the hints. I see in another thread that you have a Vette fetish as well. I do too as does my son Dana who is in Jacksonville. He has a C6, mine is a C3 (72). He's a member of North Florida Corvettes too. Again, thanks for the hints and pics...

Actually there were lots of accessory carb adjusters marketed. And a few had the nice combo of choke and adjust.

Doing carb adjustment, while driving your '24 and earlier T, leaning over the passengers knees, fumbling for that tiny Y shape fork, located way way way down and to the right under the dashboard.....oh me....sorta like the '20's version of texting while driving :-)

Sure was nice to see the Ford get a single combo control, easy to reach, right on the dashboard in '25.
