The Ford made one was the same.

Randall
They make a boot that snaps around the pedals and the mat lays on top of, I have a new one not being used. If your interested let me know. Send me a PM.

I guess one could tack these boots to the underside of the floor boards as well, your mat would lay flat with out a hump that way.

Metal floorboard trim goes around the pedals. It looks better if you don't use shiny Phillips screws.

Actually, I forget where it was, either Edison's T in W. Orange or just one I worked on last winter...but it had the most perfect boot for that square cutout and was homemade.

Someone had taken an old jute backed carpet piece and cut a square a little bigger than the square. They then cut slots maybe 1/4" wide for the 3 pedals...and then they just cut off the carpet pile to leave bare backing as a frame, the exact size as the cut-out. It actually stayed put, didn't move around and wasn't nailed or tacked anywhere. With maybe 1/2" pile or so...it sealed out any draft from the pedals as the pile laid over the slot and the pedals didn't stick.

Just a thought FWIW.

There were many types of pedal coverings made, most I would assume went into closed cars, the open car driver likes the extra warmth that comes up from the pedals in winter :-)

Found this set at swap, which is leatherette on a jute backing, with snap fittings. So you can easy remove it to lift the floorboards. The type on the heel board is metal framed with rubber flapper, that seals around the clutch lever pretty good, but old rubber will age hard.

Thanks Fellows
I have put a 26-27 hog head on mine so I will have to trim it out a little more anyway, just thinking it was like a 26-27.

I love Dans floormat! I wish I could find a 1925 mat like that. Snyders don't fit 1925's very well.

I don't think a 25 mat is being produced. I purchased one from Snyders and I cut it to make it fit.
