It's finished, driven, adjusted, tweaked and loaded on the trailer to leave in the morning for Petit Jean Mountain, AR. It'll get its break-in going around the mountain for a week as primary transportation. If any of you happen by, I'll be at campsite #90 all next week (when I'm not at the swap meet), free to stop by and chat.
Very nice, Mike. We Arkie T'ers (the usual suspects) will be in our usual swap meet space, row "J" I think, not far from the highway. Stop by and see us.
Nice! With NON SKIDs, even. That's how a '15 should look. Maybe I can take a T to Petit Jean sometime.
Mike (B, not W),
I was at PJ Mt. last year, and 30 plus years ago as a boy. Wish I was there now, looks like a great car. Mike W., enjoy the meet, wish you were coming to Lincoln in a couple weeks.
Rob
Looks like a brand new car. Is the body metal or fiberglass? Who makes them? How much do they cost? What's under the hood?
:-)
Mike Black,
That is one great looking 15 T. I have been going to Petit Jean since I was 12 years old. That was 44 years ago. The "usual suspects" will be at spaces H24 and 25. I am not sure why Walker thinks we are on row J but consider the source. LOL. We are looking forward to you coming by to visit. Good food, good times and good T fellowship will be available along with a private Port a Potty!
Paul
Mike,
Nice work and thanks for sharing the pictures.

Sounds like a great time for all who attend the 54th Annual Auto Show and Swap Meet in Petit Jean Mountain, AR. Hope you take and post lots of photos.
Happy motoring, Warren
That's really nice. Hope you do well in the show!
Mike,
Great work on the T! I’m glad you were able to finish it in time for the meet. Drive safely and have lots of fun. And if you see any T wheels or rims that have a manufacture’s name, please snap some photos of them for us showing the name, type of valve stem hole (lug or no-lug), etc.
Good luck at the show.
Respectfully submitted,

What dates are the Petit Jean meet??
As the caretaker of another 1915 Touring, I think your T looks great. Do you mind maintenance questions once in a while?
John -- It's Thursday through Saturday of Father's Day weekend every year. This year's dates are the 14th - 16th.
I just looked at the website, and the dates given there are 12 - 16.

I got here Fri night late. Sat got settled in and drove the T around some. A few of the vendors were already setting up! I'm gradually figuring out how this T likes things, for example, 1st time starting for the day--jack up rear wheel, choke while pulling up twice on crank, turn switch to bat, pull up and it starts! This T seems to like the carb a little richer for starting than running. I've got no gas leaks and minimal oil leaks, but, it still wants to blow water out of the overflow when I get home and shut it down. Any ideas for a solution for that?
Mike,
You are over filling the radiator most likely. The proper water level should be about 2" below the word "FORD" on the radiator.
Also, you should not have to jack the rear wheel to start the car. Maybe the oil is too thick? Next oil change try 5W-30, it will crank and start easily, even when cold.
My supplier was out of the 5w-30 so, I went with the 10w-30. I'll put a hundred or so miles on it in the next couple of days then change it. I now have some 5w-30. I'll drive it some today with the water just covering the tubes and see what happens.
