After 300 trips around the block over two months I trusted it enough to go for a little cruise. Gas, Air at Pep Boys and a visit to Starbucks. She did good. All made possible by all the help I received here. Thanks Guys.

your car looks great, Randy. Nice work, have fun.

FUN!
That's what I do too......keep it REAL local and let confidence in the car grow.
All it takes is one little piece of crud in the gas tank to screw up a nice drive.
Great looking T! I remember my first drove off the block, thought I did something wrong with all the horn honking the car caused. I still am amazed how much attention we get with a old T and how much some new corvette owners pay for half the attention. Good luck on your longer drives.
I get waved at in the T, the Vette, or the Morris Minor and I know they aren't waving/honking at me either!
Dana,...?
I have yet to venture forth any distance on the state route we live on. Don't know if I'll get friendly waves or one finger salutes.
Great looking 26 Randy.
When we got our first T (27 roadster in profile) in 06, I drove the rest of the subdivision crazy tooting about on a daily basis. Exactly, like many others, getting myself ready for real world driving. It sure felt great to venture farther on every trip.
Enjoy that great T!
Yaahoooo. Looking good Randy. I did the same thing. Now we drive lizzy 50-80 miles or more and into the next state on a tour and think nothing of it (except how much fun it is). Happy for you. Have a great season.
