A club member of "Truckin Buddies" in the area asked me a couple months ago if I would take one of the T's to an event in Stevens Point commemorating an anniversary of the facility.
The idea of having old cars there is to have something there the residents can connect with.......
I zoom, zoom, zoomed to the Oakridge Senior Living Facility in Stevens Point this morning.......a half hour drive.
My wife came with the regular car so we could bum around Point too.
It was in the 80's today so it was a nice half hour drive in an open car and I'm really glad I went. We saw some folks we haven't seen for a while too.
Good things happen when you drive a Model T.......
Bravo Craig, I am sure you made more than a few peoples day, including your own.
Good on you Craig. Our car club (not limited to Ts) visits a couple local nursing homes each summer. We have a small car show and those capable are brought out to visit and to view the cars. It's pretty much the only shows I do and it's very satisfying.
PS Buster, my T speedster, goes this year for the first time.
