I have been sorting through a lot of parts and found two flapper style timers. One is an original Anderson Co timer and is engraved as such on the front. It is on the right side in these pictures. The old Anderson Co timer is stamped steel like the current reproductions.
The other is made essentially the same, except the timer body is a very heavy pot metal of some sort. It has no makers name or any other markings to indicate who might have made it.
I wonder if this is an earlier ANCO, or someone else's copy? Anyone know?
I've never seen the likes. It is possible that someone stuck Anco fingers into a non-Anco case. Probably not, but possible.
Perhaps the Fordson model ANCO.
The first adv for the Anderson notes a Fordson verison, and the difference being the 'shape of the shell'.
