While looking for something else on Lang’s web site, I noticed they have some new items listed – or new to me anyway. They are cleverly labeled “New Items.”
Item Number: 3314TC Top hold down straps, Couplet and Town Car – see: http://www.modeltford.com/item/3314TC.aspx . I thought of you Mike Walker and of course there are a few other fortunate folks who also have a Couplet or a Town Car. If I hadn’t posted this – Mike you would probably would need a pair. But since I did post it, you probably already know about them.
And they also have the brass elbow for connecting the brass horn tubing for the 1915 when it was mounted under the hood. See: http://www.modeltford.com/item/6432RA.aspx
This may be old information for many of you. But I thought it was nice to know for the Couplet and Town Car folks.
Respectfully submitted,

Thanks, Hap -- That is nice to know. I didn't know that Lang's now has them. Kim Dobbins had some made a while back and sent me a pair. I sent him (the remains of) an original one to use as a pattern. I'm glad there are sources for more and more of the hard-to-find parts.
Hap,
This post couldn't have been more timely! My Lang's catalog is dog eared, but, I'd never seen the horn elbow. I've got one on the way to me here at the campground. Thanks again to Hap and Lang's.
