Now that I found a way back to the forum I can let the ones that have been watching me over the years know that last weekend I DROVE the 1925 Indiana Truck 2.2 miles at a top speed for the trip of 32.9 MPH by my GPS. I have video posted on youtube of the trip.

Congratulations!! You have come a long way since the T Party days. Well Done.

Congrats Bob, it sure looks good.
Where did you find a 1925 GPS for your truck?? Those are almost impossible to find in working condition.
Looks Great! Nice job.
Awesome truck Bob!
Am I the only one who thinks this thing runs Terribly and if not tuned properly will damage itself??

Great looking old truck Bob. The videos turned out really good. Liked the scenery, looks like my old stompin grounds near Wabash. Thanks, Jeff

Bob, I would love to see the engine room on that old
gem!
Thanks for all the comments guys. I see Hap posted the before shot for me so thanks Hap for doing that.
As for the 1925 GPS, I had to get in my time machine and do some real shopping to come up with one that was lost by a fellow time traveler from the future when he went back in time to 1859 to pan for gold. Almost got shot on that trip
As for the way it runs, the choke is not hooked up and it has no muffler yet so it is cold blooded at first but purrs after it warms up. I also need to get the carb set on its sweet spot but that takes a little bit of run time and it has only been started a few times so far. I was expecting someone to say something about the way I had to crank it to start it more than anything. I know I am doing it wrong but the mag is set to fire after TDC and it just wont fire any other way unless I get it spinning. That should change as I get the carb set right but it is very hard to do with this engine. Took me a while on my 27 Indiana dump truck and now it starts easy.
John,
I will take some pictures this weekend of the engine and post here because I just don't have a lot of those shots.
Bob (Not Tim) Be_Zero_Be,
Glad you could remember my name this time!
Two more before pictures from 2003
Front section took 22 years to find, rear section is original to my truck. I never found a complete frame intact.

Some engine shots.
Engine as found falling through frame of old truck.
Engine sitting next to my truck ready to go in.
Tag from my engine.
Beautiful job Bob....... :D
Those first runs are so fun.....and nerve wracking maybe?...... ;)
Does the mag on the engine have an impulse? I didn't hear anything.
I highly recommend either getting an impulse adapter or an impulse mag.
It'll be easier on you in more ways than one.
The mag has an impulse but it is a fixed spark so I can't retard or advance it. I have the correct mag ready to put on but didn't want to mess with it since it runs now and I want to get it running better before I mess with that part of it. I also want to rebuild the starter so I don't have a stroke turning that 251 CID Hercules over by hand! First ride after 32 years so I was willing to work at it a little, I will get lazy later.
Wow Bob,,, What an amazing feat... It's easy to see the many hours of hard work it took to bring her back to life. Great job.
Look forward to seeing it at the Winamac Tractor Engine Show in July.
Bob, my brother also has an Indiana truck that he has been working on for a few years. He has handled all the problems so far except one, the differential was welded together years ago. The ring and piñon are fine. Any idea where he could come up with an useable differential would be greatly appreciated. Jerry Kramer. Jbk50@aol.com
Jerry,
I will contact you but need to know the year and model. I may have what he needs or know where to get it.
