The K "Doctor" has most of the car together. I expect to see pics of a couple of his Iowa grandkids riding in it soon. Looks like the upholstry goes back in by the end of the month.
Is it a sin to love a car?

Only got one word....NICE
BEAST!
Can't wait to hear it run and drive. So glad you are sharing this. Very exciting to see it in all stages of progress.
You know thats an absolute work of art! Only us guys who restore these cars can even start to imagine the work and time put in something like this - It is wonderful!
No John it's not only you guys who restore.
A BUNCH of us DO know and that's why we don't....... ;)
There are enough spark plug wires on that thing to wire a small house! Looking good Rob, sure wish you could have had it together for the Lincoln tour. Beautiful car, the K "Doctor" is doing a wonderful job! Dave
FANTASTIC!...If we can't wait to see it finished and a video of it running down the road, I can't imagine how you feel!
Those plug wires must not be as close to the exhaust manifold as they look.
Craig, hope not, if so we are all in big trouble. My wife says cars are cheaper than a girlfriend. She's probably right.
Erich and Dennis, your right, I can hardly wait.
John, I'm smart enough to know it's a good thing I have someone else doing the hard work. And he has been fantastic.
David, the wiring/electrical was one of the things that really scared me about this project. Fortunately our K Doctor has it well in hand.
Rob
Great Job Rob!!! Wish I was a quick
Mark
Mark,
I'm simply the "middle man". The credit goes to our "Dr. K" along with the painter and soon upholsterer. My main contributions have been shining brass and treating wood. If I were the main architect, the car would be in a million pieces and five years away from any hope of completion .
Rob
It would take me 10 years to get that much done and it wouldn't look half as good! Can't wait to see and hear the video of it running and driving away.
Some of us are just now seeing this. Could you post a comment on the motor such as what it is and how you put the car together. Would like to know more details about it. Thanks!!
Fred,
This link takes you to the Early Ford Registry (EFR) site where photos of our K are online. The pics show the car as it looked when we picked it up last winter through the pics shown above. The car is mostly correct, except we are using a Bosch mag (originally a Holley) and not the original Buffalo carb.
