We will be crossing the country leaving Vancouver B.C on Oct 14, 2012. I would like to take in as many Model T functions as might be possible. We will be traveling in a daily driver at standard road speeds. Would like to find out locations and dates. A few gas engine shows would not hurt either. Regards, John

If you're planing to visit southwest Florida, the Ford/Edison winter homes and museum might interest you.

I don't think you'll find much that time of year; maybe some indoor engine shows.

John, Can you give us a general idea of your intended range of travel?

Hi Gary, We plan to stay within a few hours of the border either above or below until we reach the Great Lakes and then we plan to stay south of the Lakes to avoid possible bad weather

John Eaton:

I would like to suggest one route in Washington, the North Cascades Highway 20. It starts in Burlington and Sedro Woolley and ends in Okanogan. One stop you should make on the route is Winthrop an old mining town. Be sure to stop in the coffee shop on main street. You sit at a counter, with a huge picture window a few feet from the board walk and watch the people. Coffee is or was still 10cents a cup. They have cattle drives down main street if you are there at the correct time. The traffic on Highway is very light and the scenery great. The highway has good wide shoulders to pull over and let what little traffic there is by.
As Mike Robinson says the Antique Auto Ranch is another good stop. You will be amazed at how much T stuff is there. The Help is friendly and will be glad to show you around.

Hi All, So far I have received some wonderful ideas about places to visit and some e mail invitations to visit model T collections. Most of these were in the west and I am interested in more, however if anyone has any ideas for central areas or eastern areas I'm all ears. Also I will have limited empty space and therefor I am interested in swap meets as long as I get to them before my wife hits the first IKEA store. Thanks everyone
