Our time on stage at the Muny ended a week ago Sunday. I have been so busy catching up that I was not able to post till now. That and I did not receive the pictures they took till last Friday, almost a week after the end of the show.
Here we are on stage before the Saturday show.
And again.
In costume
Loading the car with the Dancers before our first on stage each night. The two gals standing in the back seat and the two standing by the windshield actually rode the car on stage.
Here we are on stage unloading the dancers. I had to hit a mark on the stage to stop at the exact spot each time. The dancer just coming off my right running board danced in most of the scenes. She is an incredible athlete.
We were told to look forward only so I had no idea what was going on onstage. I am watch the stage manager for my cue to exit the stage.
Here I am unloading "Mama" at the end of the show. Notice my crank is not in the holder? When I stepped on the started button the starter was stone dead and I had to do a very quick crank start. Later I found the nut holding the wire on my starter was loose, easy fix but almost made me miss my cue.
Final bows Then we exit blowing our Aooga horn.
Steven,
What fun! Thanks for sharing the photos. Hopefully a few folks will be more interested now than before the show in the Model Ts because of your appearance.
Respectfully submitted,

Yeah, I believe the current descriptive phrase is "Way cool!"
As Midnight used to say, "Nice!" If you know who I'm talking about, you're really old.
Wasn't that Smiling Ed's cat?
Steven - "Good Show"! I'm sure many of us would like very much to do this ourselves. Thank you for posting this with all the pics.

It was a great production. Nothing like a view from the free seats at the Muny on a Saint Louis evening.
Joe, your mentioning the free seats took me back to my high school days - driving over to Forest Park on a summer evening to sit in the free seats at the Muny. (Can't remember if it was the "Muny" then or still the "Municipal Opera.")
I forgot to post the picture of the cast and chorus badge that was made for the car.
One day when we were entering the back stage, the guard asked if the car had a badge. He was surprised when we showed it to him.
