I had no idea, Norm. We celebrated wifey's birthday there on Friday. The Del Mar fair has always been a favorite birthday activity for her.

Seems like there is more noise and fewer animals every year, though.

If you drove in in an antique car, you got in free. After the event, we parked in a special area and were free to wander the fair as long as we cared to. It was open to other antique cars. This year they were Model T's with exception of one Velie I don't know if I spelled the non-T correctly. There was a swap meet in Orange County the same weekend, so some of our people were there instead. Tomorrow, I get to drive the "Honorary Mayor of Alpine" in a parade.
