Caption- "H. M. Hedges and 'Tinsy', March 1924 "
The car seems to be well laden for outback travel. The box on the running board is a petrol case, although not being used as such. It is designed to hold two tins, 4 gallons each, of petrol. That is the way petrol was sold in Oz at the time. The cases were very handy for a lot of purposes. This one has 'Plume Motor Spirit' on the end and 'Vacuum Oil Company' marked on the side.
