Today I finished work a bit early and checked the thermometer... it was exactly "a touch warmer than yesterday". So off to the lake. Had to pack up the toys because the beach is about 5 miles distant.
It is amazing in five miles how many young drivers have to blast around you. It seems they are willing to risk anything crossing double yellow lines so that they can sit at the red signal light. I think they just want to be there to watch my car pass them by as the light goes green in my lane just as I approach. They sure get to that left turn lane in record time!
As my wife, Terrie, and I paddled about we had plenty of time to cogitate about the need to trim a second or two off the e.t. between the stop sign and the stop signal.
Oh, well now I have a hard decision... do I unload the car now or wait and go to the lake again tomorrow?
TH
Go to the lake again...of course.
And it is not just the young drivers who insist on getting to the red light first; I guess they like to wait there longer.
Looks like you're having fun. That is why you have a Model T, of course. Enjoy it and look out for the crazies.
Leave it loaded, that way you can dash away on a whim. Love your 'T' barn.
Like your care and the boat, head for the lake ;-)
Now that's how to haul a canoe!
Wouldn't a cedar strip canoe look great up there? Problem is, they are very pricey, even when found "used!"
World's first amphicar. Turn it over for water use.
