Presently working on side curtains for my 1912 torpedo. The torpedo has a one piece dash. I am looking for pictures of the dash area of side curtains mounted on a 1912. Doesn't matter if it is a roadster or a touring for my purposes. I want to see how the curtains in area of the windshield, that over hangs the dash is handled. Pictures of the curtains off the car would also be a great help. Thanks guys. (Sometimes I wonder about myself for tackling some projects)
Here you go Jack , don't know if anyone else has these but me but here are the original side curtains for a 1912 Torpedo intact.
Thanks Gary. I have these photos, as you posted them once before. They are my guides as I work through the challenge of making my own. As you know the top bows for the 1912's varied by supplier, so they have to be custom made. I would like to see some close up photos of the inside of you curtains and I wonder what the "extra" hole in the back panels near the top are for. (shown in the bottom of your photos posted. Thanks, Jack.
Okay Jack. I cant tell you about those extra holes. They appear to be punched out. 1 on each large curtain and 2 on each smaller curtain. Having a hard time posting the photos so i will send them to your private email. If you want to post them here , be my guest.. greg
I'm not sure which hole you are talking about. Is the extra hole where an Anzo fastener snapped the side curtain between the top and the inner flap?
