I was given an Ahooga horn that was my Dad's. I've always wanted one. I installed it last night and hooked it up to the horn button that came on Canadian cars. Today I took it for a test drive and there weren't any steering issues, which was what I was afraid of with the wiring going through the wheel. I included three photos: 1) an old B/W that was posted on the forum some years ago of a Canadian horn; 2) the horn hooked up to the water inlet; 3) the button.
Jim, normal route for the wiring is through the bottom of the wheel spokes and then down through the tube on the underside of the column. With your original horn in place, feeding all the wires down the tube might be a tight squeeze. The only problem fitting the wires the Canadian way is occasionally the wire will break off at the switch due to the flexing, and you might have to bare a bit more off and re-attatch it.
