My dad and I are making for personal use on a T - enclosed car (a '24 Coupe) the "ventilator handle quadrant - part T 17045" due to it was missing on the car. This is the part the cowl vent holds open. We got the drawing for it as a guide but no mention on where/how to mount it. The wood on the instrument panel was replaced at an earlier date. We were seeking if any one with a '24-'25 Coupe, Tudor or Fordor Sedan can either tell or have photos to where and how to mount it. This for a USA car, not sure if the world cars are the same.

Thanks,
Tom

It mounts to the wood directly under the ignition cluster. the bolts go thru the wood, but not the metal dash cover. The heads of the carriage bolts are recessed into the wood under the dash cover.

Here is something that may be of interest. It was the answer to a quiz from a 1924 Ford Owner and dealer magazine.
