Gentelmen,
Could someone please help me out. I have a '22 TT non starter with a horn and light switch combo. I have no idea how this thing should be wired.
Thank You
Paul

Let me be a little clearer. I want to wire the lights and horn (mag.) I think I have everything I need I just need to know the wiring diagram and the placement of the junction block.

Thank You
Paul

looks like a winch on your trailer would help too

It rained hard.

I learned something about carbon tracing that day... Every time I cranked the engine over I would get a horrible shock no matter where I put my hand. A new wood kit in the coil box fixed that problem.

Thank you Dan.
I do have that diagram. I guess I am looking for a picture? Maybe I'm just being lazy... but those diagrams just confuse me more.

Here is a simple one for the plain engine, just add the other wiring for the steering column swtich to run the lamps and horn.

Pg. 29 of the MFTCA Electrical System Book has a very nice diagram but does not show the lights. I am stumped on position of the junction block and where I should drill the through hole for the wires.

Paul, if you look at the original 1919 touring post, you'll see a picture of the junction block and its position. The hole goes below it. If this is unclear I can measure my pattern today or tomorrow and let you know. Where did you get that rain from? If you have extra, send it up towards St Cloud, we could use some. Feel free to email me at aloso@q.com, if you have extra questions or need clarification.

That original 1919 touring is electric, hence the switch and amp on dash and the extra wiring loom.

Perhaps TT, non-electric owners need to chime in, as my belief is the non-electric, magneto only TT didn't have a junction block or hole for any loom.

Would have plain wiring, the lamp and horn wire up the steering column for that rotary switch, the lamp wiring routed in the timer harness, tacked to the wood firewall as early cars?

That's not Eric tugging on the radiator is it Paul ... you might need to re-solder that as he's kind of a strong fellow !!

That pic was taken a couple years ago at a car show. What you can't see is another person pushing the low gear peddle. I was cranking and trying not to pull the radiator out of the truck.I will never do that again...
