hi all, im thinking of selling my 1926 touring.
fresh restoration, runs great with the exception of needing a new radiator.
I would like to get some input from yall about its value? Im certain that I whave way more into it than its worth. am i crazy to think that it could fetch 15K +/-
Looks too nice to drive. What wood are the spokes?
great looking car---might bring $10---$12K. I`d bet it was restored for many more $s but only the early brass cars seem to bring $12 to $25K. deduct rad cost from selling price---good luck-----Paul
Unfortunately Paul is spot on. Recently got, right in the mid range of what he mentioned, for a really nice '23 Touring. Older restoration. Don't advertise low in any case. You can go down, never up. Recoup your outlay? Ain't gonna happen.
Looks like an excellent restoration with many new parts. Beautiful car to be sure. If the engine and drivetrain was gone through probably the investment is close to 17K+ invested. In todays dollars you probably would get like 13K at the most.
Great car for those who want a nice T to get in and go and have fun driving it.
Ask the 15K and see what happens.
Check ebay completed sales for cars that actually sold.
Looks super, super clean. Even the headlight rims look like chrome! Painting it in a non-T, non-stock, non-period color may limit the circle of potential buyers though. I'd say $10K to $11,5, unless you have time and patience to wait for the "right" buyer to come along.
you've done a great job on your car and if it runs as good as it looks then what some of the others are getting shouldn't stop you from getting the 15 like they are.
That sure is pretty. I know Bernard said it's non-T, non-stock, non-period, but that silver sure does suit the car.
I've got a '14 speedster that I love driving but I've been lusting after a bigger T that will let me bring more than 1 rider along. If I had it to spend I'd give you $15K for no problem.
Can you post more pics of the underside, engine, and interior?
I like my car, but maybe I will consider a trade, if you pay shipping. See my profile;)
Price it at 15K and see what happens? There is a buyer out there somewhere that will love your car.
You can always come down on price, going up on it is a little more difficult.
I say put in on Ebay. High prices are being paid recently, look at the price this project fetched.
