A friend is trying to match up some rims for 20 in rear wheels. His wheels have six lug bolts. What are his choices for rims? Model T Haven sent him some split rims that only have five loose rim clamps that I think are not Ford. My thoughts are that he needs split rims with attatched lugs. His wheels do not have the raised ridges inside for loose lug clamps like Kelsey wheels.

ONLY 23 in TT rear wheels have split rims like a 21 in front wheel, all 20 in have the 2 pc snap ring and rim. They sent you the correct ones, but you'll need 12 bolts , nuts and clamps,

John, I might have stated my question correctly. His tires are 600x20. His wheels fit these tires and have 6 lug bolts, The rims sent by MT Haven are split rims with 5 loose lug clamps I thought I have seen 20 inch split rims for truck with attatched lugs.

the only TT rim w/attached lugs are the 23 in split rims, you use 6 bolts, nits and 1107-C clamps, I carry the used clamps danuser88@ktis.net

The 23 inch Hayes rims are the earlier style that are a split type rim ( both ends are not joined). The 20" rims 24-27 have a large snap ring that faces out and holds the tire on the rim. Don't get the split rim confused with the modern day term for Heavy Duty split truck rim. What we now in the trucking business call as a split rim was called as a snap ring style rim in Model T days.
This had me confused for a while till I figured it out.

This is the 20" Snap Ring Wheel and the Lug Clamps come off with the nuts.

Thank's now it makes sense. His wheels are like the picture posted by Fred. The rims sold to him are not Ford and he must find the rims with lock rings.
