Ross Lilleker (on left) helps participant repair a sheared axle gear key on a newly restored 17 Roadster. Ross offered to help anyone that had a problem, and he really meant it. This member asked and Ross and his little girl worked diligently to get his car back on the tour. Truly a nice guy. Don Lang called and had his son open the shop so this member could go and pick up a needed part to repair his 17(180 mile round trip). Now that's service you can't beat!
The car is set up for touring, Ruckstel, Rocky Mountain Brakes, Accessory lower wishbone, and steering stabilizer. Beautiful car.
Now that's what the T family is all about!
Keep on T'ing
Sometimes the breakdowns make the tour great.
I take it no parts trailer is at the tour?
Kudos to Ross and Don!
T people are the best! Some of us have known that for a long time.
Also, It is nice to see a well restored '17, one of the forgotten years.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I'm very impressed!
Don's parts trailer is directly next to the trouble tent. He just didn't have the needed part there.
John, Don Lang has his part's trailer here. The Ruckstell bell housing was damaged and Don didn't have one with him. As this happened on a very steep hill, it's lucky the car had Rocky mountain brakes. If you are really going to drive these cars you can't be to safe.
Would love to see some more pictures of the tour Dan??? It is always great to see how other Model T people help to keep people on the road on a tour even missing out on some of the tours themselves just to help out. What a great hobbie and what great people the world over!
Ross and Don are good T people, always nice to have a T vendor handy for any tour, and knowledgeable mechanics like Ross and Don you'll have a safe tour and have FUN
If any of you have the opportunity or privildge to meet and drive with Ross, you should consider yourself lucky. I had the good fortune to meet Ross in '01 when he first came to the US from the UK, his native homeland. He came to Brian/College Station, TX to participate in one of Ben Hardeman's Alaska trips. That is when I discovered his real qualities not only as a person but also as a first class Model T mechanic and restorer. The picture displayed is an absolute and true profile picture of his character. He is not only willing to help but derives great pleasure in keeping Henry's finest on the road. Ken Swan, Selmer, TN
Ken good to see you are still OK.

Ross worked on the 17 into the night. Ross and the owner of the 17 finished it up this morning. It was done and ready to tour before the scheduled opening tour breakfast.
Ken- Words that you wrote are so true of Ross. Super Nice guy.
Perfect day of Touring through Vermont

We will be there in the morning! I feel like a little kid, sooo excited! More T's in one place than I have seen in a lifetime!!
It really is great to have guys like Ross and Don to help out to get a car back on the road. On my drive from Lincoln, NE to Chula Vista, CA the spokes on my right rear wheel got very loose. I really had to take it easy on my last leg into CV. Lee Pierce and Tony Bowker pitched right in to get the wheel fixed for me for my return trip.
Tony (left) and Lee (right) working on my wheel.
I will attempt to post some photos later on in the tour. The current pictures I have are almost the same as those posted.
The first day was a good day.

Now that's what I call tour pictures!
Thanks for posting Dan.
Willie, you know we will all be checking this site often for more pictures.
'17 Roadster back on tour.
Is that a great picture or what?
