Front wheel has 1 bad spoke on the TT. Ive got a nice rear wheel with break hud on it.
Can I take the rear hub off and put the Front hub in its place? Looks like it will work, and I think the T would have been built with this in mind?
Thanks

Yup no problem. Be sure to stake the nuts afterwards.
Silly question from a nob ....
Does 'stake' = 'pean'?
Once you've tightened the bolts, done the per-requisite running on them a bit, re-tightening, etc ... one would typically grind the excessive bolt off, then take a sharp cold chisel, etc, and punch between the bolt and nut in a couple places, so they are 'locked'?
I've seen some say to tighten as tight as possible .. and others to torque to a given foot pound. I should look that up and post here, but (oops!) .. need to get back to work!

In order to change the hub, I have been told that the spokes near the hub should in a circular pattern be carefully driven away from the hub.
The question I have is: Should the spokes be driven towards the back of the wheel..in the direction that the hub will be removed? Or should the spokes be driven towards the front of the wheel..opposite the direction that the hub will be removed? Or, does it matter?
I think it was John Regan who recently recommended torque to 30 pounds, drive awhile, torque to 30 again, repeat until they won't turn under 30, then peen.
Staking a fastener can be accomplished by peening over the end of the bolt so the nut cannot back off. The term "staking" does not always mean peening is involved, but in this case it is the easiest and best way to be sure you don't have a loose wheel hub bolt.
