Otis Scott Museum auction will be Saturday July 21 starting at 10am, and Sunday, 22 at 11am. Over 1300 items North F street Arkansas City KS 67005.
I just found out about this a few minutes ago. I assume it includes several T cars and trucks that are in the collection.
Otis was a distributor of oil products, and as he made deliveries to farms all over the county he collected 19th century and early 20th century relics. Sometimes he bought them, and sometimes people just gave them to him as old junk they didn't need. He ended up with a wonderful collection, and I'm sorry to see it broken up. A lot of the items are specific to local history, like signs or other relics from local businesses. One is a vaudeville stage backdrop advertising local businesses of the period. If you're close enough to attend, it will be worthwhile just seeing the stuff even if you don't buy anything.

Interesting tractor conversion on the last T (touring)

Bob - I agree! Just imagine the work that went into cutting those farm tractor tire treads from tractor tires and attaching them to the iron wheels!
Steve, what do you have your eye on??? Maybe some of the belt driven stuff.
I couldn't find a picture of this
PTO drive vintage crosscut saw
I am interested in one of these!
I was hoping for some belt driven shop equipment but there's almost none of that. I don't have time, space, or dough for another vehicle, but there are a few small T parts I'll try for.
