Good showing of Model A's
Last day, what a Tour!
Dan, in pictures 10 and 11, the maroon(burgundy) touring, is that the same car that came in early Tues. morning smoking like a chimney? I think the older gentleman was riding in it. Do you know what the problem was to cause him to smoke so bad?
Anyone know the results from class T-3
Better stay on tour. Looks like the rest of the country is going to heat up to 100 degrees by Sunday or Monday. Hope Vermont was nice and cool.
Thanks to all who posted pictures.
Chip, I think it was the same car. It had a blown head gasket.
It is the same car and as Dan posts, it had a bad head gasket. Fixed Tuesday and finished the tour.
The maroon smokey car belongs to Greg Adams, last years Heart of Maryland MTFCI President. His friend and also a long time judge is Bob Burke.
Greg also had another minor problem that he was able to fix.
The stem blew out of this tire.
Does anyone know who owns this car? There is a Pennsylvania Railroad emblem on the door He offered to give me a ride Tues, and we got just down the road and there was a few bangs in either the brakes, rear end or trans. Just wondering what happened and how he made out?...Chip
Chip,It was Carl Megonigle's car. He didn't run it for the rest of the tour. He rode with Don Buesing who brought the TT Popcorn truck.
Thanks Dan. We are off to a big show in Malone in 10 minutes so I gotta run. Thanks for all the great pictures....Chip
In Class T-3; a Bronze went to banner #40, and a Silver went to the 1913 car.
