I`m replacing the ignition switch on my `24 touring and wondering if there are any preferances in using the "pin type" or the "tab type" switches. I have either available---is there a correct version for this car? Any input appreciated---Thanks, Paul

Don't buy a reproduction switch they are junk. I have Ben Martin switches available with backing plate. danuser88@ktis.net

Both were used in production but the pin type are easier to rebuild. The tabs nearly always break or crack then they have to be repaired or the housing replaced.

We make the switch backs, both types. They should be available soon from Langs. I don't have any to mail out at the moment to the vendors, but will soon.
