I moved to Utah in 2004 and I was temp. at a apt. I drove out of the parking lot and I saw a Model T in the right garage door, but nobody home and fenced off so I could not go to the door.
After driving by that house and looking for someone to be home about 2 times a year. Fast forward tell 7-21-2012 I finally found someone home and almost gave myself whiplash I turned around so fast. Got a hold of him and asked about it. It was still there, its a 26 Tudor sadan. I had asked "Does it run?" He said "yes." Then I asked the "What was the last time he had it out or running?" He said "1972!" I was born that year. I traded numbers and I am going to get a tour of the place in the future. He also has a 26 Essex and many other cars.
Had to tell someone, you guys were the ones I picked to tell.
This is another example of something I've noticed: there are a lot more of them around than most people realize.
Gee Andrew, you know how to make a guy feel old--I graduated from High School in 1971.. . Still hadn't finished my first car restoration (although I did drive it to my High School Graduation!)
