That word has been used on cars over the years. Found this one in the stable at Mission San Juan Batista yesterday:

Hey Ralph watcha doing in Paso? Are you coming up for the Estrella Warbird Fly in next month? They should have the XB35 displayed I hear. Big meeting tomorrow for volunteers...
I was just staying over, John, enroute home. Looks like a good museum. Estrellas was a P-38 base, but they don't have a P-38, I see from their site, and no Ts.
Made it home last night through extra heavy traffic on the 101-405. Old Folks' Lane (carpool) is no help in heavy traffic anymore. I think scofflaws are figuring they can't get caught, in spite of the $1K fine.

Ralph, Estrella Warbird museum has one T ... a brass delivery car painted up to look like a WWI ambulance. The museum has a flying C47 and several post war planes. The old P38 base was a couple of miles west of the Warbird museum and now has several business of note on that site, including Hogue Grips and The Brass Works.
I know what you mean about the HOV hogs...I was in the bay area last week and we had the same problem on 280. My family was in my wife's Pry-us (Prius) behind one of those scofflaws. When he (a lone driver)finally moved out of the lane I gave him a crisp one finger salute as we passed. Not what he expected from the average greenie in a Prius! GRRRR!
