I have a weird sense of humor, but evidently it's not quite as bad as these guys. I really thought I needed this until the bidding got a little crazy.

Can't imagine putting that on my T. Different strokes, I suppose...grin...
That (or one very similar) was for sale on Ebay a few months back. I bid on it but pulled out when it got to $100.
One of my Ts is a Tourer rear tub moved forward into the Roadster position; ie; a "Turdster".
The defecating dog radiator mascot would have been ideal but at $300 would have doubled the value of the car.
I'd like to see a picture of your turdster, Gavin
See the hole in the back? I wonder if it works.
Roger,
John
You need a bumper sticker like this.
Bob
I've never seen a picture of it, but supposedly Earle C. Anthony replaced the doughnut pusher on one of his Packards with a little cow stepping on its own udder.
Commanding that kind of dough, the doggie ornament would probably be a good product for one of the guys who cast reproductions.
To reach that price maybe someone is going to use it to make a mold for repro's.
Bob,
How did you know?
I thought it was cool but even the opening price was too steep for my pocket.
I have seen that one before. I look with suspicion at all the "rare" radiator mascots listed by this guy (and others) and believe most of them are not originally radiator mascots. Many of them I know to be trophy toppers or flag pole toppers. I have even seen a cake topper or two on a model T cap.
This particular one, however, I believe to be an original auto accessory.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I saw it and thought is was kinda funny.....but not 300.00 funny
So that roadster made from a tourer? What is the white metal at the bottom made from?
Kep,
the white metal is the new panels that I welded in. That panel was missing the bottom 100mm or so all around and the next section was fairly ratty too. It had been opened out flat and shoved into the space between the purlins (above the rafters) of a shed. Here is the "before" shot of the panel (upside down).
Kep,
I posted the extra bits but didn't answer your question, 20g zinc coated panel steel.
i thought it might have been some special repair patches supplied by Fisher and Paykel.
If they were, they would now be Haier and made in China.
