I thought you might like this picture of my son talking to his great grandpa. Grandpa taught me everything I know about Model T's and now is is being passed on to the next generation.

I wish my great grandchildren lived closer. We have 5 of them, but all 5 live over 1,000 miles from here and in different directions. We get to see them about once a year, and so far they haven't even seen the Model T's. However all our grandchildren have seen them and have ridden in them and one even drove one of them.

We are blessed to have them around to learn from. He lives 30 mi away and we still do not get over to visit as much as we should.

I had just finished a 2 year complete restoration. My then 5 year granddaughter wanted to go for a ride. We went around the block, even though I didn't have the floor boards in yet, and all that noise from the transmision and engine, came right up. As we pulled into the garage, I asked her what she thought. Her reply, "It's junk grandpa, it's junk."

My granddaughter, Brianna, has been riding in T's since she was a toddler and has been touring with us for nearly as long.

She will not get her fingers greasy but she has become a good driver. Fortunately, we have several miles of private roads for her to learn on, and she loves it. She wants a speedster for her 16th birthday.

Matt,

Great photo! You and your boys are truly blessed. And I would guess that your boys will also treasure those moments -- now and especially later in life when they look back on them and smile.

Respectfully submitted,

Hap l9l5 cut off

Here's a picture of my grandfather and me, well, some years ago. The other one is a picture of my kids with the same car a couple weeks ago after their grandfather (my father) restored it again. It got to be warm weather so we put it together before painting it (winter's project).
