I note that, for safety's sake her hands are cleverly
bolted to the rim. The bonnet must obscure the velcro
attachment for the head.

Dodges had rear fuel tanks, but I don't know what this car is.

Not a Ford or a Dodge I don't think. I have seen fenders like that, but cannot recall what they were on. It also looks like a 20 inch rim. Rear fuel tanks were most common in the '20s.
