I took my dad’s 26 Sedan to the local car show and it made the top 100. There were over 500 cars there so it was a big surprise. It was also the oldest car but they did not have any prizes for that. It was fun. Mud
Right on, Ken! I'm doing my first show on the 11th. It's local so I'll be able to drive there in my 27 coupe. I'm not a big car show guy but a bunch of my old muscle car buddies are going to be there so I figured what they hey...it'll at least be good for a cold brew afterward with old friends.
Me too Danial. My T is usually the oldest car at my local car show. There was a guy who used to show up with a 1913 Cole but it was an 80 mile round trip in Florida (combat) traffic and he had to leave early or try 'fire-up' the lights.
I'll be taking the Rambler this Saturday. I only live several blocks from the show and I'd take both cars if I could talk the ol' lady into learning how to drive the Model T. I'd drive the T and she could drive the Rambler but she won't have anything to do with that 'squirrely' Hot Rod Rambler. It's only 54" tall and she's not exactly 'trim' (if you get my drift), she has to almost fold over double to get in under the 'chopped' top and I drive it like I stole it. She can't dig her fingernails into the metal dash board.
