Clay's a neat old guy. The joke here about is that he overcharges...which isn't true of course...grin...
Got nothing 'gainst the big town, but my heart is in the small town. (John Mellencamp - Small Town)
Tell Clay,,,,,,Carl sez "HEY"
I'll do that...grin....do you know him?
I like your parking brake Danial. Glad you got out today. We did a tour to Vernonia and covered nearly 150 miles. The heat was strong. I hope Clay's has A/C.
Hey good evening, Erich. 150 miles?? That's great! I'm still getting used to just driving around our little town and still learning to drive this thing. I still don't know if I'm shifting it in the best manner..
I took the block of wood with me as I hadn't parked the T on an incline before and I didn't want any surprises...
If Clay had any AC going in that little shop of his, I didn't know it....grin...
But I can attest to one ting, the side of the road was full of cars and customers before I left in the T and of course, almost everyone wanted to ask about the car.. I think Clay had a banner day.
What year is your coupe. I just recently completed a week long 1900+ mile tour in a '26 coupe. I am new to the "T" infection. Ken
Wow, wtg Ken!
It's a '27. I'm relatively new also. I've had the coupe for going on a year and a half now but this summer is the first time I've actually been able to really get out and about in her. I love it.
Clay should pay you to drive lizzy over for a haircut regularly.
A neighbor was preparing his '15 roadster for the trip and I mentioned I was jealous of the trip. He offered his coupe and the wife issued a pass. -- the trip for me was on. I received a quick driving lesson, practiced a few times and we left a few days later. Shortly after our return I purchased a '27 coupe and a second chassis that according to legend were put away at least 50 years ago. Looked at them while on the trip (about 500 miles from home) and can not wait to go get them. Looks like a fun and busy winter ahead. Ken
Ken,
Welcome to the affliction...I mean hobby. Recommend you review some of the "new guy" gotchas/safety at: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/257047/303637.html under a recent posting.

Acquired the use of a "one room school" that has a garage door in one end for bringing the coupe back to life. As I read these post I note "period correct" is often used and thought this building fit that description well. Ken
Very cool Ken. Post pics when you can.
It was by accident and not design but it just so happened that the T I found was built the same year as my house. Over the 23 years I have owned it, I have looked high and low for old pics of this place. So far, no luck..
