If you are planning a visit to the MTFCA Museum,
take a day to see the Childrens Museum in Indianapolis
My daughter came with me to drop off this 1931 Marmon outside Indianapolis on Tuesday.
We went to the Childrens Museum later ....
On Wednesday we stopped by the MTFCA Museum.
A few guys were outside hanging up a sign,
the collection was great to view, bought some gift shop items.

Jim what is the large blue car? what wheels ?size, ? how many stud holes? and are they lock ring style? I think I have some like them don't know what they fit? danuser88@ktis.net
Is that a club sedan like this?
That is a 1931 Marmon.
The engine is a 12 cylinder aluminum block.
300 some were made in Indiana, they were wood bodied with metal panels.
About 80 some remain, the guy I took it to has
owned about 5 over the years.
It took about a year to rebuild the body from
a wheelbarrow of pieces.
Marmon continued making trucks into the 1960's.
All of that was lost on my daughter, she was happy to run the electric winch ....
