These two items were in the bottom of a box of coils I bought recently, along with typical K-W contacts. Are they ignition coil contacts?

My stupid guess is they are knife sharpeners.

When I see wheels mounted like that it is usually on a balancing fixture of some kind. The wheels being mounted "UP" and the 2 devices then mounted in a fixture at some distance apart and then a cam or crankshaft journal resting on the thin wheels. With well lubricated thin wheels, the heavy side of whatever it is will rotate to down position. That is my guess only since I have never actually seen these exact devices before.

Jim,

My money is on knife sharpeners too.

I don't think it is a knife sharpener because the wheels do not over lap. With just a little wear it would not work as a sharpener because there would be a space at the knife edge.

Here is what a wheeled sharpener looks like:

I don't know what it is.

Whatever they are, they only measure 2.25" by .75" and at the wheels they measure 1.125" so they are in the same rough ballpark as KW contacts.
