My reverse pedal is sticking in the down position. Does the band need adjusted? Other ideas?

I'd venture to guess the most common cause is the band worn which allows the cam to ride up and out of the notch. Pull your floorboards and push the pedal. You should be able to see it if that's what it's doing.

If the spring is weak, it could even be rubbing against the floormat. On the reverse pedal, you can adjust it a bit higher than the other pedals because it has more movement. Just don't get it so tight is binds the drum when not being used.
