This is just a few miles from my house, if anyone wants more pics. Seems like a very reasonable price on the surface.

Looks like a nice one Danial. Just what you need. You'll love a Touring.

You need to buy that, because it's too far away for ME to buy it!

I'd love to! I really want a Touring but just can't justify the expense right now.

Several times I have read in posts here that Model T's have a habit of multiplying. I can now state from personal experience this is true.

Sadie followed me home about 3 weeks ago.

I

She is in great condition for having sat the last ten years in the back of the garage. With old rotten gas in the tank, it is amazing that she idles and drives so well.

There are a couple of minor issues with the car. The brakes, even by Model T standards, are lacking. The Kingston L4 carb needs to be rebuilt because it leaks gas terribly. The transmission bands need to be replaced. I suspect this will fix the first issue. There are also the usual oil leaks to deal with too.

The magneto works. The 1156 bulb and analog meter test results are comparable to my '21 roadster where I replaced the mag coils and recharged the magnets. All four coils are in serious need of work and that explains the distributor. The car will be going back to the original ignition system.

I will be adding Rocky Mountain brakes too. The paint is good with only a couple of minor chips to repair prior to buffing and waxing.

In two months or so she'll be back on the road!

Whether or not we can "justify" the dough we blow on these cars has no bearing on what's going on here.
If we tried to justify this hobby we'd never do anything except sit in our respective Archie Bunker chairs!
Go buy it...fifty years from now who's gonna care?
(I have three)

Richard,

I'm glad you found your "new" Ford. Looks like it will be happy in its new home.

Respectfully submitted,

I'm looking for a third and would love to build a forth. Now where am I going to put all these cars? How do you do a vasectomy on a Ford?

The Craig's listing has ended. Danial?
Richard B,
Congratulations! That is a nice looking touring. I know I cannot explain it. One T just is not enough.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
