Does anyone know who bought the 11 touring from Model T Haven?
It was me, a newbie to this forum. But I have owned Model T's for 45 years.
Steve,
Welcome to the forum. Since you have already owned Ts for the last 45 years I won't post the items and links about T-safety and joining the local Model T Ford club. Whatever you have been doing has been working! From memory [I should have saved the photos], I believe the 1911 I saw on the Model T Haven site looked very solid. I'm sure you will give it a good home.
You will find a lot of great people on here. Some of them you may have already met at swap meets, tours, etc. And with your experience, you will probably be able to help a lot of us out. If you haven't looked at Phil Mino's web site -- http://www.fordfarm.net/11Car1.html he has some great photos and documentation on his 1911. I would encourage you to consider documenting your car also. The "Vintage Ford" is often looking for articles and of course I'm always looking for body numbers and details on the cars.
Again, welcome aboard and congratulations on your "new" Ford.
Respectfully submitted,

Another great source if 1911 T info is Keith Townsend.
AAaaaaa, that should be "of 1911 info...."
Welcome Steve,
keep us posted on that great old T.
Photos are always enjoyed too.
How 'bout some pics, Steve?
Thank you for your reply. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to be able to follow the restoration of this car and what you will do with it. I am trying to determine if I want to sell my car and get a brass one.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome to the forum. I have been an avid reader for a long time and can say you are a fantastic asset to the promotion and love of Model T Fords.
I will post some pictures when we get the car home, I just ordered our new inclosed trailer with a foot of additional height which will give me a opening of 7'2", it should be here next weekend. I will keep all of you updated with pictures when we go after the car.
When I say "we" I am referring to my wife Peggy of 42 years and she loves Model T's as much as me and she is a great wet sander as long as I don't use the old red oxide primer as she is allergic to the pigment.
Hap and Erich thanks for the leads for information on the 1911's. Again Thanks, Steve
Steve,
Mark had most of the hard to find bits on the car already as you probably know. I think you got a great deal on a very good car.
