Is there a difference between the '26/'27 U.S. and Canadian roadster bodies?
So...... I should take it that the bodies are the same?? What about the screws that were used on Canadian bodies? Were they still used in '26 and '27?
I believe Canadian cars use Robertson screws.
Canadian 26/27's has Canadian Branch Assembly Plant numbers stamped on the firewall.
The really odd ones are the australian bodies - for tax reasons only exterior sheet metal was exported for the body, wood reinforcements like for the earlier bodies were made locally
Here is an old Forum discussion that delve's into the the question regarding the amount of timber in the Australian Improved Open Cars. Regards, John

Our "27 Touring is Canadian built.
It has Robertson screws and things are stamped "Made in Canada".
