I have a 1914 T Runabout with Jon.W.Brown Model 16 head lights. I have the original Mirrors that came with the car. Question : How do I mount the mirrors in the back of the head lights so they wont fall out? Is there some kind of clamp or ring to hold them in and where would I buy what I need. Also what would be the correct size of the clear front glass be? Thanks.

The original ones I had looked to be made of pot metal. They were not useable. I fashioned new ones out of a piece of aluminum. They are about 1" long and roughly 3/8" cross section but they are on a curve. The one side next to the mirror is beveled like the mirror so that it wedges against the mirror as it is tightened down. These are held in by a round head slotted screw from the back. Behind the mirror is an asbestos pad to cushion it against the metal lamp.
The mirror wedges are again being reproduced but by a new mfr. Send me a PM and I will hook you up with him.
