Looks like a big day at the track.
Do you think they had any arguments about getting out of the parking lot!
Herb
Wow. There are a TON of people there. Lol, and why in the world did everyone park so close?!? Those cars have almost no room between them, much less front and back. There's an awful lot of people that can't leave until the car in front of them and behind them leaves.
Which car is mine,,, Oh right,,, it's the black soft top. As mentioned. there is no way for anyone inside the pack to get out.... wonder what the back up plan for that was. I would sure like to own a few of those cars today
That guy out there in the middle probably slept there that night. But, I went to the spring Phoenix NASCAR race this year. Track parking was worse... at least these cars are parked in straight rows - not diagonal or right angles to each other. Complete lack of parking attendants was the same however.
Nice speedster peeking out at the bottom....
Valet Parking ??
Looks like another day in the parking lot at a Oregon Duck football game.
"....would like to own a few of those cars today." Heck, I'd like to own all of them. Why wish for a loaf of bread when you can wish for the grocery store.
Valet parking or not, the cars in the middle aren't going anywhere until the ones on the edges leave.
I wonder how many gallons of oil per minute were dripping into the dirt?
The three guys walking;
"Why didn't you tell us you had to be home by four o'clock?"
"And Mr. Jones, if you don't see something you like here we have another lot with more selections."
"Told you we should have driven our cycles."
"Your wife's having a baby in your car? Which one is it?"
"It's the third. We've already had two kids."
My car is the black one with the black top.
Wish we could see more of that speedster looking car just behind the T coupe, center foreground.
Appears like a Mercury speedster, cowl windshield, wire wheels, and wire wheel spare hanging far out like on a boat tailed speedster!
What amazes me is the almost complete lack of Model T's. The coupe up front and center is obvious but then it's difficult to see another. There are lots of "upscale" cars to see.
You guys have it all wrong! Most of the cars are facing one direction. This is the starting line!
Herb
its like it were beverly hills or somthin....lol.
of course im not sure of how rich of an area it was at this point.
There are more than one Beverly Hills! Our granddaughter lives at Beverly Hills Texas. Some say that the one in California was named for the one in Texas.
Norm
I like your take on it Herb!
Here's another pic of BHills Racetrack
They could have gotten out of the parking lot, the same way Laurel and Hardy got out of the line of traffic in the infamous movie.
You can tell by how close that they are parked that most of the cars have self-commencers on them. No room to crank!
