Or should I say, I am!? Or almost, actually.

Carol just informed me that she is sending in the application and funds so I can become an MFTCA member in good standing instead of just a forum-lurker....

Life is good!

Hey, those tours are not so big. Only about 200-250 cars. Isn't the next one in Utah (MTFCI)?

2014 in North Carolina.

2015 - no one knows yet.

Daniel, just drive South to Carson, City and then to Kanab, Utah in late July next year and you can join us on the Canyonlands tour. It's only a bit over 1000 miles for you, slightly less than it is for us here in Pierre. :-) Welcome aboard. Many of us are in both clubs and enjoy the friendships of each. You have to be very tactful here, however. Don't mention distributors, Chevy's, water pumps, e-timers, hot rods, ethanol, kevlar bands, or type of oil or you'll start a fight that cannot be finished!

Hey thanks guys...I've seen some of the discussions come and go on he forbidden things...grin..been posting on and off here for awhile now.

If I get a trailer for the T you all may be real surprised where I end up at. I drive this thing on an almost daily basis. With the help of you gurus on here, I have been learning quite a bit about my old Ford and how to work on it.

Dennis, I have posted pics of my 27 Coupe on a numbre of occassions, but like the pic of my granddaughter in my wallet, I'm happy to show it anytime...grin:

Dennis & Danial - Both you "newbies" have a lot to learn. For example, that picture you just posted for Dennis; all you had to do Dennis was to click on Danial's name and that same profile picture that Danial just posted for you would have come up! Ha, ha,......did you forget about that too Danial? Actually, that's why it takes me so long to read the forum; I am continually "clicking" on names to see Model "T's,......trouble is, it seems like only about one in 5 or 6 people have a picture of their car on their profile page. And, even though I was just giv'n you guys "the business", I have to admit that without Hap Tucker's help, there wouldn't be a picture on MY profile either! Between my wife and me, I think we could post pictures if we could just "master" the size-reduction thing! Guess I'll always be just one of those old guys who's just barely computer literate!

Anyway, welcome to our "T" world Dennis, and Danial, up here in Western Washington, we keep hoping that you and a couple of those other Portland area "T" guys could make it up to our "neck of the woods" once in awhile. Some of us get together for lunch at Scotty B's in Tennino, WA. now and then;....'course we realize that you younger guys like Erich Bruckner who are still working have it a bit harder than most of us ol' retirees!

Some day Harold, I'll get up that way. Erich has made it down here a few times and we still have as yet, managed to get together.

I had forgotten about my profile pic...it's hell getting old... I'm like you Harold, I enjoy checking the profiles for posters' pics of their cars.

That's one of the great things about this forum, folks aren't shy about posting pics. Love seeing T things from around the world...

hahaha!

Hey speaking of profile pics, love the T in your profile there. Would that be considered a Depot Hack?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Harold Schwendeman - Sumner,WA on Friday, August 17, 2012 - 01:39 am:

Yup! A depot hack, and I have a '23 touring that runs great, but I always say that Ma' & Pa' Kettle wouldn't want to be seen in it, and I have a '23 roadster that I haven't driven for awhile. Just have some minor "issues" to get it running again, but you know what they say about "tomorrow" and "roun' tuits", right?
