Scored this piece on eBay, was in this group of old screwdrivers, buy it now for $10.00!

Been looking for this tool for a quite a few years at swap meets without success. Ah....now am :-)

Dan,

You did good! For those who might be wondering the screw driver with the square metal shank showing at the end of the handle is the part number 1902 screw driver that came with many of the Ts. It is the middle one in the top photo and third from the left in the bottom photo. For additional information see: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/179374/249390.html

Again, Dan -- you "done good!"

Respectfully submitted,

Hap l9l5 cut off

I see the square shaft goes all the way through the handle. Could you see the end of it on the new ones or is this one ground off on the end?

Thanks all. Yep, lucky to find it, and should clean up ok too. My thoughts when seeing it on eBay was 'Yaa Hooo'!

Noel: The correct T screwdriver has that sq. shank protruding out the wood handle, that is how you tell it's a T-1902 screwdriver for the tool kit.

Oh-boy......I think I threw one of these coveted screw drivers away 50 years ago because the steel shaft end at the handle caused me to get shocked when using it for electric work and testing....it did make a good chisel and wedge for driving with a hammer.....foolishness and impatience of youth are my only excuse.
