I just spent the last hour and a half sitting in the grass by the driveway with the dog to keep me company polishing the headlight reflectors. They looked hopeless to begin with, but came out so good with a just a lot of elbow grease, well worth the time spent. Too late and too tired to tackle any thing more complicated, but I did not want to go in, too nice out tonight. One more original part to use over and one less replacement part to purchase. I used Tarnex, Kimberly Clark Wypal disposable wipers and glass cleaner to lubricate. A T sure tries your patience some times, but they sure are fun. This is my first, and it is probably 6 to 8 weeks from being in a position for it's first time around the block. Thanks for all the good answers to the questions I have ask
Doug

The only part of a TV you need ... is the 'T'... :-)
Isn't it grand to keep some old piece of crap looking thing, and bring it back to life! Too bad they can't do that with us when we're old and dingy ...

You must have seen my T! Old piece of crap fits it perfect. No real clue of it's heritage, only guessing it is a '21, as that is what the title said, but it is a non starter body, kerosene lamps, no dash, and key on the coil box body, with a '21 serial starter engine. Who knows what the body is, it might be a later body with a round top windshield on it, but it did have the 2 man top brackets. I Have added a '27 engine, and drive train - Engine plastigauges out perfect, but no shims left to remove, it will work for now. I've rebuilt both the rear axle, and the front axle. I plan on using the no paint patina-ed fenders and body parts for the time being. Just running, dependable as possible, and fun is I I ask from it. I have the patterns, and a good Band saw, with which I have a lot of experience. I'm looking forward to building the wood frame for the body. There was nor wood in it when I bought it, it was all wired and screwed together. But save for the wood, it was reasonably
complete. It sure is fun working with something more primitive than a new lawn tractor.
