I'll bet Jane Seymour will argue with you. They brought a circa 1912 non Ford touring car and of course Christopher Reeves' sport car onto the island for Somewhere in Time. I too was wondering if the speedster was another car I was not yet aware of.
It almost looks like the speedster has knock-off hubcaps.
Anyone care to photoshop the smudge on the speedster?

Great looking speedster! I wish we could see better pictures of it. But thank you very much for sharing this one. I really love to see old photos showing speedsters in normal street scenes. It helps prove that they were built and then driven on the road "back in their day".
