I was given this part and I'm not sure if it is a T part. Looks to be some kind of support bracket.

Aftermarket T part. Belly band, transmission support to prevent broken engine mounts, or to keep the engine in service after an engine mount has failed.
The hangers on this one are a bit different than the ones I have seen before, they hook over the frame. The one on my 1927 uses the engine mount bolt on top of the frame.

It is a rear engine support to catch the engine in case the original motor mounts fail. It is common to the original supports to crack and this support will prevent a catastrophic failure.

Thanks, Sorry about my spelling (identify) all thumbs. That clears that question that no body around here knew. I was thinking a support for a auxiliary transmission.
