Hi guys,
I just wanted to share a photo of my Allen Generator Test Stand. I recently finished restoring it for my business. Many thanks to Ron Patterson, Bob Scherzer, and BJ Miller. Without these fellows, I would not have had the good fortune to first locate it, and secondly to get it in functioning order.

I am sure crusty ole Bud Scudder (RIP) would be happy to see it now.

Very nice. I think I'd prefer that to my KR Wilson gen test stand.

Not sure about the exact date, but the Allen Electric generator test stand is depicted in the generator rebuilding section of the "Ford Service" book. As you can see it is Model T generator specific.

I have used both. I am more familiar with my Allen Electric unit, but have also used Steve Coniff's KRW unit as well.
The key feature of both is the spin test capability which allows you to dynamically test and adjust the generator after rebuilding.

If you all are going to show yours, I might as well show mine. Not as pretty as some, but gets the job done. Dan

Mine is similar to Brent's with the exception of the mount where Generator goes.
