I loaded up my chassis and took it to the Toledo Trashing Bee yesterday. As luck would have it they let me participate in the Model T drag race before the start of the tractor pull. Not quite a fair match but I did win my heat by a few links, even thought the white roadster did beat me off the line. The race starts at the start line with engine off. Then when the green flag goes, the driver has to crank start and run the track. I started in low - low Ruckstell and got to low - high Ruckstell. That was fast enough for the short run and rough ground.

Oh Oh! You're in big trouble now. The speedster bug may bite big time.
Finish the roadster. Put together another chassis built for a speedster. We all know that model Ts multiply.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Yeah Jerry I must have been in the swap meet area also when Jim was tearing up the track. I sure would have like to have seen it.
I did get to visit with Jim afterward. He has done a great job on the chassis!
As always it was a great show....had the 4 year old grandson there.
